Guest Friendly Hotels in Bangkok's Red Light Districts
A hotel that is guest friendly indicates that they will not charge you an additional penalty fee for inviting your personal guest back to your room. And if you"ll be staying near a red light district the person you"re bringing back to your room is most likely someone working in the sex industry such as a bar girl, freelancer or whatever.Although a hotel that is deemed guest friendly in most cases will require your companion to leave their Thai I.D. cards with either the front desk or with security. This is just for your protection to keep your companion honest while in the confines of your room.
The majority of guest friendly hotels is no surprise located in the red light districts. Some of them are luxury hotels run by Western management such as Sheraton Grande and Westin Grande, both on the major intersection of Asok and Sukhumvit Road. Though rooms there are quite expensive for most.
Fortunately there are many low budget to mid range quality guest friendly hotels especially in the Nana red light district.
The Majestic Suites is certainly affordable with room rates starting at 1300THB. Then there"s the older Swiss Park Hotel and Nana Hotel, which cost just as much. All 3 of those hotels usually include a free breakfast along with the room rates too. Plus the fact that they are all within walking distance to Nana Entertainment Plaza makes a stay in those hotels a major advantage for go go bar hopping.
Staying in a guest friendly hotel near the red light districts is the way to go. You won"t need to rent a short time room which will set you back 300THB for 1 hour. And since most are affordable you will have plenty of money saved for your Bangkok nightlife activities.
